| ~ Welcome to my Rendezvous Pages ~|
I made these pages because it is the easiest way to share my collection of pictures with friends.
If you happen to come to this site by chance, feel free to browse. Inside you may find some images reminiscent of days past, of individuals who have developed a passion to "live" history from time to time. Synonymous with the fur trade era of the early 19th century these gatherings are generally known as "Rendezvous". Today however, common encampments also include participants who portray the 18th century, from the French and Indian War, the Revolution, to the frontier wars of the Ohio valley. Gatherings or large encampments today draw dozens, hundreds and even thousands of participants nation wide.
There are still some pictures to post and pages and links to refine so please bear with me. Please feel free to send me an email if you have any comments or questions.
The majority of my pictures were taken with a Kodak DC4800 digital camera on automatic or manual settings. They have been cropped and resized for posting on the web. They are NOT intended for commercial use (in the event someone may qualify one of my pictures for such) without my expressed written permission. They are intended for personal or event use only!
