For almost 35 years, his name and who killed him remain a mystery. But there are several clues that were left behind that could point to the identity of the victim and possibly to his killers. He was believed to be around the age of twenty-five years old and had a goatee and wore his hair in a ponytale. He had brown hair, brown eyes and also had a mustache.
When police discovered him, he had on a white shirt that had a print of storefront scenes. One of the stores was of a barbershop that had the name "Lewis" on it. Underneath the white shirt, was another T-Shirt that was stamped with the name "Ferguson." It is possible that he may have been from a town named Lewis or there was a barbershop named Lewis. His name may have been Ferguson or he may have known or been related to someone named Ferguson.
