Audacity 3.1 Beta
Audacity is FREE, you can convert wav files to MP3 so you can save them on a CD and play them in the car etc. The Beta version is faster to convert wav files to MP3. I found that even though the 2.1 is stable I have no problem with the Beta version just to convert wavs to MP3. Has many features. You must also download this dll to use in to convert the MP3 files lame_enc.dll to put in the plug-in folder in Audacity. Open your Wav file with Audicity then "Export it as a MP3".
