English and photography can be related to each other through a coulple of ideas.

relates because in writing even just slightly different wording can lead to a completly different view or perspective on what is going on. With Phography if you take a picure it can be of one small area and you could see a piece of what is going on beut if you were able to zoom out than you may hae a different view.

Focus

I believe that in just about any piece of writing you are going to find one line or idea that sticks out to you, Photography is the same way because you might first notice the eyes in a portrait and this is the part that sticks with you.

Impression

with every piece of writing you end up with an impression it may be good or bad but you do get one and photos are the same way you may like certain ones because it leaves a good impression.

Influence

In most writing some thing influenced the person to write it or whatever the case may be and in photography you may find something interesting so you take a picture.
