featuring presentations by

Everett Barber (early Solar Pioneer and President, Sunsearch ), discussing what is involved in Installing Solar Hot Water, Space Heating, and other Solar Thermal Systems;

Paul Israel ( President, Sunlight Solar Energy Inc., a Solar Electric firm which has branches in Oregon, Arizona and Connecticut, and is active in 5 states), speaking about their work and experiences in installing Solar Electric systems.

Richard Gottlieb ( President, SunnySide Solar, a firm involved in designing and installing Solar Electric systems in the Northeastern U.S. for more than 20 years), speaking about their experiences with installing different types of Solar Electric systems;

Timothy Rourke ( homeowner and self-installer from Eastern Connecticut), discussing his installation of a Solar Electric system at his home.

The main presentations by the speakers will be followed by an Open Discussion. Those attending are invited to bring in their ideas and questions, and other relevant information of interest.]

DIRECTIONS:The Library is on Main St in East Hartford (opp a White Church),close to where Conn Blvd meets Main St. From Rte I-84 East – Exit 53 – Turn RIGHT on to Conn Blvd -- about 3/4 mile -- Conn Blvd ends in Main St –turn RIGHT on to Main St – go 50 yds – (the Library is on your left ) -- Next Light – turn left on to Central Ave – 50 yds -- turn left into Parking Lot behind the Library. Walk up to the side or front entrance ---- go to the Meeting Room upstairs.

From Rte I-84 West –Exit 56 – Bear Right on to Governor St – thru 1^st light – go to Main St – turn Right on to Main St – 2 lights – At 2^nd Light, turn left on to Central Ave - 50 yds - turn left into Lib Parking. Go to the Meeting Room upstairs.

From Rte 91 ( North or South) – Near Hartford, get on to Rte 84 East – Follow Directions above.
