Athius' Speech

"Soldiers of Darkenvale, Knights of the Order! Stand firm!", he paused his horse and held his blade aloft, and his voice rang as clear as if it has struck the steel of it.
"When I look around, at these green fields, and snow-tipped mountains, I see a sight I would fight for. I see a sight I would die for!" His horse shifted easily on the soft earth, giving a short snort.
"This is a day of woes, of splintered shields and broken blades. A red day!
But it is our day!
A day when our great green land is taken up in the flame of war, and our dreams scortched by our enemies!
But it is our day!
Within the borders of the Order, where the glades are green and the mountain-tips white, and music echoes through every age, an aria of paragon life, I shall stand.
Behind the bulwark shield of obdurance that is the product of the Great West I shall defend my country with virtue! For behind it is my salvation!
And by all that you live for, by all that you love, I bid you stand with me, proud, Men of the West!" With his last words, ringing clearly aloud over the plains, the Men drew their blades.
"Forth! Death and Honor!"
