MCGRADY TRADED TO SAC TOWN

In a 4 player deal late Thursday night, the Houston Rockets traded superstar Tracy McGrady along with Ryan Bowen to the Sacramento Kings in exchange for Manu Ginobili and Carlos Boozer. Upon first look at this trade it made no sense to nobody, but after getting a word with the Rockets GM he said that he would glady take 2 good players who will play every night, for one great player who has openly admitted to "taking nights off". The Kings however are set, they have possibly the best backcourt ever assembled when you put Tracy McGrady along side Jason Kidd. Shawn Marion, Mehmet Okur and Ryan Bowen are the rest of their starting line. Other than a weak Power Forward the Sac Town Kings look to be in pretty good shape for the first month of the season.

CAVS SIGN VETERAN, COLEMAN

Monday night the Cleveland Cavaliers signed 6'11" big man Derrick Coleman. Coleman was signed for 16 mil currently the most expensive Free Agent signed all season. The Cavs initially wanted Coleman to come to Cleveland to start at Center, but because of recently acquired big man Yao Ming, DC looks like he'll be playing the 6th man role. The Derrick Coleman signing looks to make sense for the Cavs because their other backup Centers are Dasagana Diop and Scot Williams. If Coleman steps up his game he could find himself in a starting role at Power Forward, the position currently held by former Michigan Wolverine, Maurice Taylor.
