screen areas - explorer pane
the explorer pane is the top part of the left area of the screen. it shows you the "directory tree" of the disk you
are browsing. when you enter a folder on your computer it will show you the files or other folders in it.
you can navigate through your file system (i.e your folders and files in the hard disk, floppy disk, network etc.) much like
you navigate with the windows explorer.
