actions - delete
what do you want to delete - a whole word or a single character or digit? where is it located in the filename?
the options vary so that there are two action tabs for delete. this is the regular delete which looks for a character or a
string (a sequence of characters) and deletes them from the filenames. but that's not all. if you wish to delete a few characters
or words from the filenames you may type them in the different text boxes. you can erase up to four sequences in one run.
sometimes you might want to erase a characther or a string which apears in the filename more than once. the default is set
to "delete first". but if you want to erase all the apearances in the filename: let's take the
example, suppose the album name contains the name of the artist and you want to get rid of them both (you don't really like
that particular singer do you?). you can then press the button "all occurances". now in one run, renwiz will erase all the
sequences that match the text box. this is especially usefull if you have digital camera files or numbered files etc. you can
erase all the "d"s from all the filenames and such (be creative...;-).
if you want to search the extension for the sequences to delete, press the button "include extension".
