2003 Ford Mustang Mach 1

Back in 1969 Ford came up with the Mustang Mach 1 design.  It was offered from 1969 to 1973.  They came with four engine options:

    Compression Ratio Horsepower
351 Windsor/361 Cleveland 2V  9.5:1 250 @ 4600 RPM
351 Cleveland 4V 11.0:1 300 @ 5400 RPM
428 Cobra Jet   10.6:1 335 @ 5200 RPM
428 Cobra Jet Ram Air   10.5:1 360 @ 5200 RPM

Here's a pair of pictures of the 1970 Mustang Mach 1

The 2003 Mustang Mach 1 is a front engine, rear wheel drive car.  It will be pulled by the 4.6L DOCH V8 (that's 281 cu in. too all you old folks).  Projecting 300 plus horsepower at 6000 RPM's, and 300 plus lbs. torque at 4250 RPM's.  Plenty of power to lay down a nice set of strips old school style.  This awesome power plant also features 10.1:1 Compression Ratio, 3.55" bore, 3.54" stroke, multiport fuel injection.  Backing up the 300HP machine is your choice of a 5 speed manual, or 5 speed automatic transmission.  The Manual Gear ratios goes something like this: 1st - 3.38, 2nd - 2.00, 3rd - 1.32, 4th - 1.00, 5th - .62.  So when your cruzin along and have to make that high speed pass "chirp".
