| The Entrepreneurial Studies program is an
exciting, new course at the Independence Center. It is designed to assist
students with the essentials of planning, starting, and operating a
business of their own. Students will learn about the rewards and
challenges of small business management, finance, staff, technology, and
management processes necessary for a successful business.
Through classroom training, practical experience, and internships in the mall stores, students will gain the insight and confidence to help prepare then for an entrepreneurial career of their own. Students can earn college credit by taking this class if they meet all the eligibility requirements. If you would like to learn the valuable and rewarding skills of owning your own business, talk to your high school counselor about entering the Entrepreneurial Studies program today.
