Turn good ideas into usable drawings
     Enter the fascinating world of Computer Aided Design and learn how to turn good ideas into manufacturing or architectural drawings.

The Computer Aided Design (CAD) program at the Career and Technology Center at Fort Osage will teach you to combine your artistic abilities with math, science and computer skills to create everything from technical parts to large scale facility layouts. You will get hands-on experience with the latest industry standard software packages and computer equipment.

     By enrolling in this program, you will be prepared for excellent job opportunities in the design field. Upon completion of this course, you may choose to continue your education by pursuing engineering or architecture degrees. Or, you may take a position as a draftsperson with an engineering or architecture firm.

     See your high school counselor to find out how you can receive Metropolitan Community College credits toward your Associated Electronics Degree.
