Since December of 2001, band members of Unit have been playing music together. They have gone through many band members, and now they believe that the band is perfect. Since the band first started playing, it was always Andrew and Josh. They have gone through many different failed band attempts before finnaly finding the right band members to create the perfect band.
After Unit's orriginal band (NeST) ended in April 2002, Andrew and Josh got bored and wanted to start up a new band. They decided that they worked good together musically and they wanted to find more experienced people to fill the new band.
When the summer of 02' started they found a brand new member. His name was Zach, and he was skilled at not only the art of the bass guitar but also the claronet. When they started playing together, Zach seemed to fit in perfectly.
Once Zach entered Unit, he also brought in another band member named Kolin Green. Kolin was supposed to sing for Unit, until he quit in early May 2003 because of creative differences.
In that same month that Kolin quit, Josh (drummer) brought in a new member to Unit named Max to fill in on vocals.
Since then, Unit has became big throughout there town, played shows with bigger local bands, almost won "Favorite Band" in there school's yearbook, played in front of 400 people at the JFK Talent Show, and much more. No one is sure for what is in store for these four kids from Southington, Connecticut in the next 10 years.
