Our Chavurah--
In Hebrew, a group of friends is called a Chavurah. It has been a Jewish tradition that both members of synagogues and those who have no affiliation create their own uniquely personal, meaningful, egalitarian Jewish experience.
Friendships are enriched by sharing a common experience with openness and sincerity.
This Jewish New Year we will join together in worship. The services will be officiated by our friend, Neal Spevack, with participation by members of our community. Cellist Martha Colby and an accompanist will perform music on Kol Nidre.
