Many of the thousands of chemicals in use today kill soil microorganisms, which are absolutely necessary in the uptake and use of minerals in our food. Since these microorganisms produce fulvic acid, they help convert inorganic minerals into the minerals used by both plants and animals, carrying these complex minerals into the plants and ultimately into our food chain.
When we saturate our soils with chemicals such as pesticides, insecticides, herbicides, and fumigants, we destroy the organic material needed to solublize insoluble, inorganic minerals.
