SPIRITUAL WHOLENESS

By Jade Marcus Kenny

From a channeled message from Archangel Michael transmitted through Ronna Herman in November, 2004:

"It is a time of integration and moving back into balance in all things, and of paramount importance is the reunification/balancing of the Father/Mother God Forces on Earth and within each of you. This reunification process will speed up your return to balance and harmony within yourselves. You will, once again, embody both the masculine and feminine attributes, qualities and virtues of the Supreme Creator. No longer fractured, and warring within yourselves, but empowered through the combined forces of your Divine Self."

From the Gospel of Thomas - Quote from Jesus Christ

"When you make the two one, and when you make the inner as the outer and the outer as the inner and the above as the below, and when you make the male and the female into a single one, so that the male will not be male and the female not be female . . . then shall you enter the kingdom."

WHAT IS MEANT BY SPIRITUAL WHOLENESS?

Spiritual wholeness or unity is key to the personal ascension process. Unless we attain wholeness or unity within our spiritual selves, we will not be able to ascend or reach higher consciousness. Spiritual wholeness or unity is simply the balancing, harmonizing and uniting of our inner male/sun/yang and our inner female/moon/yin. When we unite our inner male and female, we birth the son which is our Christ Consciousness which is our connection to our higher self. Our higher self is androgynous, so we must ourselves become energetically androgynous or whole in order to connect with our higher self or Christ Consciousness.

Carl Jung, the modern Gnostic, understood this process. He refers to becoming spiritually whole as the individuation process of the individual. Jung claims that gaining personal individuation is necessary for gnosis which means "inner knowing". So when you think about it, gnosis is inner knowing and you can't get this until you become individuated and this makes sense because when you become individuated or whole, you then merge with your higher self and get inner knowing!! It all fits together. This word individuation simply means that the individual has merged their male and female polarities and is spiritually whole and can then merge with their higher self. Jung terms the unconscious feminine side of each male the anima and the unconscious masculine side of each woman the animus. Chinese thought teaches that evil occurs when yin and yang are out of balance. For the Chinese, good and evil are not opposites. A balance of yin and yang is good. An imbalance is evil. Furthermore, if yin is pushed too much, it will bring about yang and vice-versa. When either yin or yang is pushed too much, the opposite will develop. That is why when our civilization was in a very strong matriarchal and Goddess worship period (prior to the current patriarchal period), the opposite very patriarchal period was eventually forced to come about. An imbalance of yin and yang is not in balance with the universal forces.

As I discussed in my “Spiritual Twins” article, each soul that animates an individual human body is in reality a half soul. Before separation occurred, each twin was one half of a complete androgynous soul or what is termed a "hermaphroditic soul”. Each hermaphroditic soul duplicates the God/Goddess archetype ultimately represented in the Mother/Father God dyad of our universe. The “hermaphroditic soul” had a perfect balance of male and female or yang and yin. The yin/yang or Taoism sign symbolizes the perfect balance between twin souls in the spiritual sense. However, although upon separation one twin was the female polarized or yin half and the other twin was the male polarized or yang half, each twin retained the seed polarity of their opposite half, as depicted by the yin/yang symbol. Therefore, each half soul has both the male/sun/yang and female/moon/yin polarity within, giving each half soul the capability of achieving wholeness and unity within themselves. This seed polarity that each half retained of the other is in essence, the “inner lover”, and the pure spiritual essence of their twin soul. The twin soul is the one and only true spiritual lover.

Our entire universe operates under the eternal laws of yin and yang. Yin seeks out yang and yang seeks out yin. Yin and yang balance affects our physical bodies, our personalities as determined by our astrological charts and our spiritual selves.

In the case of our physical bodies, there are certain laws of nature that have to be followed or the body will become imbalanced. Michio Kushi, a Japanese philosopher, who is very involved in the Macrobiotic movement, teaches that our physical body must maintain yin/yang balance. For example, according to Macrobiotic theory, refined sugar is considered to be very yin. Therefore, the consumption of too much refined sugar could lead to imbalance in the physical body which may then lead to physical problems or disease. Conversely, Macrobiotic theory teaches us that red meat, considered to be very yang, if consumed in too great of quantities can lead to bodily imbalances that may lead to higher blood pressure, cancer and other types of disease. Therefore, it is essential for the human body to be “balanced”. One cannot be too yin or too yang, according to this theory.

Our human personalities also reflect the balance of yin and yang as represented in our natal astrological charts. Each astrological sign is either yin (feminine) in nature or yang (masculine) in nature. For example, the air and fire element signs (Leo, Aries, Sagittarius, Gemini, Libra and Aquarius) are yang in nature. The water and earth signs (Scorpio, Pisces, Cancer, Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn) are yin in nature. Therefore, if an individual’s natal chart leans too heavily to yang planetary placements, this individual may tend to take on more masculine traits. If an individual’s planet placements are heavily yin, this individual could tend towards more feminine traits, in general. So if one’s personality is too passive or too aggressive, it may be an astrological challenge to have a balanced personality.

In the spiritual sense, in order to attain spiritual wholeness and balance, one must unite the inner yin and yang and harmonize and balance these. Otherwise we will continue to look for that missing half from outside of ourselves. We need to look on the inside for our “inner lover”. Master Tantra teacher Osho teaches that we must unite our inner man and inner woman if we are to become whole within ourselves. Osho teaches that “you go on looking for the woman outside, for men. But nobody has ever found any woman outside or any man outside to fulfill the desire or the longing to become a complete whole. But the basic understanding is right, that somehow man and woman have to merge their energies. Just one thing is missing: That miracle can happen only within you. It is not something outside. It is something that as you become silent and peaceful. As you enter deeper into meditative states, as your intelligence becomes more sharp, you will see: The other that you have been searching for is within. And there is no problem with the inner woman. With the inner man. Once you recognize them, they start melting into each other, without any effort on your part. Just your recognition is enough to trigger the process of the merger”. Excerpts from “Osho, Sermons in Stones, Bombay, December 19, 1986.

This is in fact, our "inner lover". If we are the female polarized twin half, then our male half is inside of us alongside our female. That is our true man. The same holds true for the male polarized twin half. Our “inner lover” is a part of us and with us at all times, even though we may be physically apart from our twin soul.

HOW DOES ONE ACHIEVE SPIRITUAL WHOLENESS?

First and most importantly, I would recommend reading this link FOUR STEPS TO WHOLENESS which is directly channeled from the God of our universe. It is INVALUABLE information.

Spiritual wholeness is achieved when the female or earth/yin lower chakras unite and balance with the male or heaven/yang upper chakras within the heart chakra of the individual.

It is very important to move old emotional charge that has been suppressed and has sometimes even fragmented out from us from past and current lifetimes. Emotional movement allows the feminine emotional body or layer of our aura, which gets "stuck" with old, dense charge, to vibrate. It also allows any feminine emotional energy that we may have fragmented out of us to clear and come back into our energy field. Allowing the emotional body to clear and vibrate as much as posssible further allows the male and female polarities to merge within you. Feminine energy is magnetic and as it vibrates, it draws the male electric energy to it. As more feminine energy is freed up and can vibrate in your auric field, this allows more male energy to be drawn to it. A very good website that can help you understand more about becoming whole is HEALING TO WHOLENESS

Some methods to help achieve spiritual wholeness and unite the inner yin and yang are Yoga (Hatha, Tantric, Kundalini),Tantric Sex, Pranayama or Pranic breathing, Chi Gong, Tai Chi and some other types of martial arts and Meditation.

Certain types of rock crystals and stones can also be used to help achieve spiritual wholeness and awareness. Onyx and tourmalinated quartz are said to be useful in balancing the polarities. Bloodstone is said to be useful in helping the kundalini movement. Clear quartz works with every chakra and is probably one of the most powerful crystals to work with in general.

Also, I am currently working with the book entitled "Chakra Meditation" by Layne Redmond (below). This is a very good tool to help balance and purify the chakra system. I also have a couple of other CDS by Layne Redmond and I find her to be extremely knowledgeable and easy to understand.
