A new and exciting archetype is being established for the new age of Aquarius as we leave the Fall and enter the Spring of our cosmic cycle. This archetype that is being established for the new age of Aquarius and the New Reality is referred to as the "Divine Wedding". The Divine Wedding, also referred to as the "The Hierosgamos" or union of opposites as well as the "Mysterium Coniunctionis", as it is referred to in alchemy, is the perfect balance of the masculine and feminine energies of the Cosmic twin Gods of our universe. When the two sides of the Godhead unite in marriage, harmony and balance will rule and duality will be eliminated. Heaven and earth will be united as one and will no longer experience dualistic separation.

Chinese thought teaches that evil occurs when yin and yang are out of balance. For the Chinese, good and evil are not opposites. A balance of yin and yang is good. An imbalance is evil. Furthermore, if yin is pushed too much, it will bring about yang and vice-versa. When either yin or yang is pushed too much, the opposite will develop. That is why when our civilization was in a very strong matriarchal and Goddess worship period (prior to the current patriarchal period), the opposite very patriarchal period was eventually forced to come about. An imbalance of yin and yang in our universe leads to evil. In this new era, evil will not exist anymore and peace and love will reign supreme.

In her book entitled "Beyond Prophecies and Predictions - Everyone's Guide to the Coming Changes", Moira Timms discusses the new pole star that we are moving towards. Currently, our pole star is Polaris. However, the new pole star we are aligning with is Andromeda/Perseus. Andromeda and Perseus, in Greek Mythology are twin Gods that are a happy and perfect match for one another. According to Greek mythology, Perseus is deeply in love with Andromeda and has always been very loyal and faithful to her, which is very uncommon among the Greek Gods. According to Timms, "the couple represent the dynamic integration of consciousness, although it should be recognized that each of them is also individuated and can stand alone if necessary. Their power is potentiated when they 'marry'. Therefore, in the union of opposites, female energy is liberated to equal status with the male counterpart for maximum harmonizing of species/planet energies". This means that the archetype of the "Divine Wedding" establishes the harmony and balance we need to move out of duality and chaos and into the New Reality and the era of love, peace and harmony that the book of Revelations in the Bible predicts we will achieve.

Furthermore, Timms states that the Divine Woman in the Book of Revelations in the Bible that wears the crown of twelve stars and is clothed in the sun with the moon under her feet is the Shekinah who is the female side of the Godhead. She is the divine woman who has alchemically balanced both her male (sun) and female (moon) polarities and the crown of twelve stars indicates her divinity and the fact that she is the primal mother. Timms states that this relates to Andromeda because the very name Andromeda is derived from the root word androgyny, or containing both of the sexes. The child that she births, according to Timms, is the universal consciousness also known as the Christ consciousness which she will focus onto the planet in order to help humanity achieve their trinitized Christ consciousness. Timms states that "we are moving toward our highest, most integrated and harmonius good , when we align with the next dual pole star combination of Perseus and Andromeda."

Timms's view of the birth of the divine child is corroborated by Dr. Jeffrey Raff in his book entitled "The Wedding of Sophia". Dr. Raff explains that the alchemical child that Sophia births is called the filius macrocosmi or the Cosmic Son. He also terms this child the ally or the Stone. He states that "giving birth to the filius is the ultimate goal of alchemy and results from the union of the masculine and feminine aspects of the Stone". "The Son is the filius, the end of the work, the transformed and glorified God who has become unique and individuated". Alchemists believe that the Stone has divine powers of transformation and renewal. Furthermore, Raff states that Sophia and the ally share one form; the union of opposites within Sophia "creates the form of the stone, or the body of light". He states that Sophia "undergoes a process of purification, and when the time comes for her to enter a new image, it is no longer that of her self as she was, but that of the ally. This new image is created spontaneously from the union of Sophia's soul with that of her masculine partner . . .".

In an article by "The New Call" entitled "The Divine Romance of Yin and Yang", the author states that we are redeemed from the Fall and that heaven is reunited with earth through the alchemical wedding. The article states that the goal is that the male and female "reunite: her open, receptive Love invoking his Spirit down to Earth via his personality in order that he may plant the Spirit-Seed in her womb. Note how, in response to Eve's Love, Adam realises the Living Spirit, even in his physical body, in order to give it to her. Matter, therefore, unites with Spirit all the way down to the physical plane. This is the Alchemical Marriage, which transfigures matter, returning the reunited couple to the original divine State. Their divine union brings forth or births the Christ-Consciousness, and YHVH-the Law of Creation - is fulfilled on Earth. Adam and Eve's rightful place in Paradise is then reinstated, as Heaven and Earth unite for the blessing of the whole world". "The male divine Spirit is invoked by Eve through the long-awaited Adam in order to fulfill their joint purpose in matter together: Redemption, through the rebirth of the Christ-Child, Christ-Consciousness, or divine Love, by way of their true union".

We are entering the era of the "New Heaven" and the "New Earth". Heaven will literally be merged with Earth. We are now being given the opportunity to move into the 5th dimensional realm of the Garden of Eden and the Divine Wedding will teach us what we need to know in order to do that.

The Divine Mother will be incarnated as a human being in deep and complete union with her divine counterpart, God, in order to help humanity break into the new era of the "New Heaven and the "New Earth". This is not the standard golden age of times past. This will be an eternal period when the God and Goddess will live with their children and our universe and planet will evolve toward increasing goodness.

In Thomas Aquinas's book entitled "Aurora Consurgens", which translates to "Rising Dawn", the editor Dr. Franz explains that The Aurora states that the woman in the Book of Revelations that is crowned with the stars and clothed with the sun, standing on the moon will "descend to the human world . . . prepared as a bride adorned for her husband". Dr. Franz goes on to say that "this is formulated even more clearly later in the text, and means nothing less than that the archetypal motif of the coniunction, which had always been projected upon divine or royal figures, bursts through into the realm of mortal man and elevates him to the Rex Gloriae". This means that the unification between the male and female god will take place in the human realm. The text goes on to say that this will have a shattering effect as man "would be lifted out of his ordinary human context and would himself acquire symbolic significance; for the coniunction, as Jung points out, involves a 'transsubjective union of archetypal figures', and its goal is complete individuation".

According to Gnostic belief, our Mother God Sophia is exiled and trapped in matter. She undergoes a series of human incarnations. Due to her fall into matter, she is unconscious of her true nature (i.e. she is spiritually asleep). She believes that she is really a human! Her divine spouse sends an aspect of himself to earth and takes on the form of a man in order to find her and rescue her from matter so that she may return to him.

When the Divine Sophia is reunited with and enters into sacred marriage (also referred to as "bridal chamber" in Gnosticism), with her Divine spouse, this represents a healing and a return to consciousness and her true nature not only for Sophia the World Soul, but for humanity as well. Sophia experiences a spiritual awakening and so does humanity because Sophia is the World Soul or Anima Mundi and is the ultimate representation of fallen humanity. When she achieves sacred marriage with her Divine twin soul, heaven is united with earth and this higher union between our Mother/Father God has a tremendous positive impact on the healing and return to balance and wholeness for the human individual. Carl Jung refers to this reunification or return to wholeness within the individual as the individuation process. As Timms points out, the union of opposites can be understood as "left/right brain hemisphere synch, the 'rainbow bridge' (antakarana) of Hinduism where the consciousness of the head and the heart merge in perfect union to ignite the threefold flame: love,wisdom and power. Such an achievement is the accomplishment of the initiate--one who has attained the highest degree of spiritual development".

This is further corroborated in an excerpt from The Book Of Knowledge:The Keys Of Enoch," pages V and VI:

"The Shekinah (Divine) Presence, the feminine aspect of the Godhead, exists in all creative orderings of all dimensions, and is the Power through which we are respatialized to partake of the 'virgin birth' of our embyro godself. This is the 'Age of the Holy Spirit' - where the Bride and Creator become one, creating a new peoplehood of trinitized powers who are the 'bearers' of the higher Christed seed unfolding life anew by virtue of this greater union that is without dualistic separation."

From a channeled message from Archangel Michael transmitted through Ronna Herman in November, 2004: "It is a time of integration and moving back into balance in all things, and of paramount importance is the reunification/balancing of the Father/Mother God Forces on Earth and within each of you. This reunification process will speed up your return to balance and harmony within yourselves. You will, once again, embody both the masculine and feminine attributes, qualities and virtues of the Supreme Creator. No longer fractured, and warring within yourselves, but empowered through the combined forces of your Divine Self."

Therefore, we are entering an era where the masculine and feminine halves of the godhead will be in complete harmony and balance and as a result, we will experience the blessings and fruit of this union by being given the opportunity to regain our Universal Consciousness and live in an Edenic environment free from disease, hatred, war and even death.
