BOY SCOUTS

Boy Scouts is for boys in the 6th-12th grades (Middle-school and High-school).  Boys, not adults, run the program with guidence from their adult Scout Master.  The Boy Scouts of America offers this program to assist community organizations in providing effective character, citizenship, and personal fitness training for youth.

BRIDGING

If you are now a 2nd-year WeBeLoS (5th Grade) Scout you should consider choosing a Boy Scout Troop to join BEFORE you enter the 6th grade.  The transition from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts is called "bridging" or "bridging up to Boy Scouts".  Some packs hold bridging ceremonies in February-March.  For more information on transition to Boy Scouts, how to choose a Troop, or the Webelos program, click here.

If you are lucky then there is already a Boy Scout Troop associated with your Cub Scout Pack.  If not, then you have many great Boy Scout Troops in Stamford Connecticut to choose from.  Don't give up the many benefits of scouting just because you must meet at a different time or location.
