Drawings in the Anime style

For those unfamiliar with the term "anime": Anime is a style of art created in Japan for use in their animated movies. It is also the term commonly used for the films themselves. "Anime" is really just short for "animation". Anime itself is not a genre, the films cover all types of subject matter. Unlike traditional American cartoons, many animes have deep, involved plots with more mature themes (though not all of them do... ^_^).
Most of the art on this page is fan art from various films and tv series, but some of it is original.

Colored Pencils The following two pictures and this one are my entery into a character design contest Adele Sessler was having. It didn't win, but it gave me an idea for a new character.
