It seems since we NEVER got to sing this "someone"

will be selected to lead us in tune:

(So practice, practice, practice!)

To thee we sing, o alma mater
In love before thee stand;
When long our steps have from thee parted,
Our hearts shall own thy guiding hands.
Thy mem'ry's blessing treasures happy hours,
Thy friendships never die;
And ever more we blend our voices
In praise of Roger Ludlowe High.

No Man is an Island

no man is an island
no man stands alone
each man's joy is joy to me
each man's grief is my own

we need one another
so i will defend
each man as my brother
each man as my friend

i saw the people gather
I heard the music start
the song that they were singing
is ringing in my heart

no man is an island
way out in the blue
we all look to the one above
for our strenght to renew

when I help my brother
then I know that I
plant the seed of friendship
that will never die

the impossible dream

to dream the impossible dream
to fight the unbearable foe
to bear with unbearable sorrw
to run where the brave dare not go

to right the unrightable wrong
to love pure and chaste from afar
to try when your arms are too weary
to reach the unreachable star

this is my quest
to follow that star...
no matter how hopeless
no matter how far

to fight for the right
without question or pause
to be willing to march into hell
for a heavenly cause

and I know if I'll only be true
to this glorious quest
that my heat will be peaceful and clam
when I'm laid to my rest

and the world will be better for this
that one man scorned and covered with scars
still strove with his last ounce of courage
to reach the unreachable stars.
