The New York Post reports that Rey Ordonez is contemplating retirement. "I've played eight years in the big leagues," Ordonez said. "I want to spend more time with my family. I'm not sure now, but I'm thinking about it. We'll see what happens in September."

7/02: Rey Ordonez is out for the season after surgery revealed a large tear in the ligament of his left knee. He will be able to resume baseball related activity in approx. nine months.
