...Death is but crossing the world as friends do the seas; they live in one another still...

In Loving Memory Of
Eric Krupula
May 21, 1972 - April 24, 2000

If tears could build a stairway,
and memories were a lane,
I would walk right up to heaven
to bring you home again.
No farewell words were spoken,
no time to say good-bye.
You were gone before I knew it,
and only God knows why.
My heart still aches in sadness
and secret tears still flow,
what it meant to lose you,
no one will ever know.

I was lucky enough to have spent over a year with Eric (1996 to 1997). That doesn't seem like time enough now that he is gone.

Building this website helped me deal with my grief, and I'm glad that I was able to memorialize Eric in some small way.

Our relationship was pure magic from the beginning. For me, it was love at first sight, and I was always in awe of the emotions that washed over me every time I looked at him. But there were differences we just couldn't work out, and eventually those differences drove us apart. I treasure all of my memories of our time together and I'll always be glad that Eric was a part of my life. His crystal blue eyes and devilish smile were two of my most favorite things about him. I'll never forget the good times we had and the intense love that we once shared.

Please take a moment to browse my pictures and poems, or my song to Eric. The guestbook is back up and running, feel free to sign it! And if you like, read the older guestbook entries. It's been a while since I've done any maintenance on this site (sorry!), but I'm catching up slowly now.

If you have any pictures or memories you would like to share, email me and I'll gladly add them.

I received an email from Eric's Mom, Ann, sharing a memory. Since I do not have a page set aside just for memories (yet!), I will put her message here: "We miss you Eric, you never know what you have until it slips away from you, then it is too late . We appreciated every laughing moment we had together."
(Amen to that - Thank you, Ann. kb)
