Elf Terrain

The natural terrain of Ulthuan, where the High Elves dwell, is covered in deep forests, rolling hills, rocky peaks, and gorges. The buildings of the High Elves includes watchtowers, shrines, Elven halls, and magical stones called monoliths.

Inlet of the Sea
Inlets of water coming from the sea stagger the edge of ULthuan. Sand and rocks often line the shallow inlet, making it very difficult terrian. An inlet of water used in a game must come from the edge of the battlefield.

Chasm
A chasm is almost a canyon, but without water at the bottom. The sides are cliff steep and can only be passed over by a bridge. Unless agreed by your opponent, a chasm can't extend over half the width of the battlefield. If it extends to over half the width of the battlefield, a bridge must be present.

Rocky Peak
High, steep, rocky, hills, often with cliffs on one or more sides, are near the mountain ranges of Ulthuan. Any part of the rocky peak is very difficult terrain(except cliffs which are inpassable).

Ancient Wall
A ruined part of a stone wall is counted as a linear obstacle. Although partially destroyed, they can provide cover. The walls are mostly from the castles of the ancient Elven nobles.

Deep Forest
The forests of Ulthuan have both deciduous and coniferous trees in them. The foliage is a healthy, bright green, and sometimes golden-brown. The forests count as difficult ground.

Hill
The hills of Ulthuan are smooth and low. The peak can be almost level. Very few rocks are found, but the few that exist are white, very similar to marble in color and texture.

Monolith
These inscribed magic stones channel energy throughout Ulthuan. They can be found in groups of small monoliths, or one big monolith. The type of stone they are made from is unlike anything else that exists in Ulthuan.

Watchtower
The watchtowers are tall, slender, and round or trianglular. The main entrance is either protected or hidden. Small windows along the side only serve to let light into the stairway that leads to the top. The top of the watchtower may have a high, tiled roof. The stone they are made from is bright white. Print this High Elves Wall pattern to cover your High Elf buildings. You can also print the Dark Elves Wall to cover your Dark Elves buildings. These Tower Doors are perfect for your Elf Watchtower.

Secluded Shrine
These shrines dedicated to Elven deities are built with common features of Elven architecture. High arched doorways, domes, and sprires are incorporated into circular or triangular plans. Like many other High Elf buildings, shrines are made from white stone.

Elven Hall
Elven Halls are long halls with high roofs. They are usually hidden, unlike the ancient country side halls. Now they are almost impossible to find to one of a race other than High Elves.
