Fire

This is fire, one of our thoroughbred mares. She is about 6 years old, and 16.3 hands high. Besides being beautifull, she also has a pretty interesting story of how she got to flying heart. We bought her first from a young girl who couldn't handle this wild mare for a pretty low price. If it weren't for the low price, we probably wouldn't have bought her, and boy would we have missed out on a great horse!! It was said that the price was so low only because she was a highly exciteable, wild, and mean hearted mare who wasn't capable of being well mannered or trained well enough for competition. But we decided to take the gamble and try her out, because we didn't want to see such a beautiful young horse go to waste(or any horse for that matter)! So we bought her, expecting the worse, and brought her to Silver Bit Farm. After training her, we saw that she was quite calm, and used her in some intermediate jumping lessons. We found that she was an excellent jumper, and that she was only wild when ridden by children. So we moved her to Flying heart where she has been showed in many competitions successfully. She is ridden mainly by male riders, since she is more comfortable with men, and is extremely calm, accept for the occasionaly typical thoroubred outburst!
