Synch aka Everett Thomas

Synch is probably the best character to come out of Generation X. He has the most interesting power-that of mimicing the power of another mutant he's in the area of- meaning that he could do all that stuff Rogue's absorption power would, but without taking their memories too. He's also one of the most well-adjusted of the 'brats' that make up Generation X. I liked him because he was maturer than the rest without being haughty (like M) and didn't squabble with everyone about everything. And he's young enough (age 16) for me to identify with him better than some of the adults that compromise the X-Men. Which, of late, with all the angst and confusion that the adults have been going through, is a nice change. I like how the kids are a bit unsecure about their powers, and that they are kids, not adults dealing with the concept of being a mutant in a world that hates mutants. Synch is a nice guy, which only makes his predicament of mutant sycronicity more interesting.
