Jean Grey aka Phoenix

Jean Grey is one of the five founding members of the X-Men team, and often refered to as it's heart. She a telepath and a telekenetic...though I think at this moment in the comics they've had her lose the telepathy...but I digress. The reason I like Jean is that she's powerful and perfectly gorgeous. It's a deadly combo. And she's loved by everyone, which is something everyone wants. But she's always been attached to Scott(for some reason I can't understand, as he has absolutly no character and hasn't since his introduction in the first X-Men comic ever). Oh, and she has a really cool codename, finally, since Marvel Girl was ridiculous. And not having one is just as bad as having a bad one. And the cool green phoenix costume is just gorgeous, and she never has her hair, which is alway perfect, get in her way...I wonder if she shunts a bit of telepathy off to keep it back.

That's another thing: I think she's probable the Marvel character that's died the most. There was the phoenix thing where she committed suicide to prevent herself from destroying the universe, but then it was revealed that phoenix wasn't here, so she was alive...and then there was that whole clone thing, where Madeline died, was brought back, and then killed again. So I suppose technically Jean herself never died, but it sure seems like it.

Here- this really just sums it all up as far as the confusion of herself goes:
Archangel: "You have no idea what it's like to have your entire life pulled out from under you!"
Jean Grey: "Warren, please. You're talking to the woman who's been killed, cloned and kidnapped more times than *I* can remember. Let's keep it in perspective."

A real good quote by Jean: "Don't lie to a telepath Scott. It's demeaning." (Uncanny X-Men #294)

Really cool place. I love the layout, and great pics too.

I really like this one because it has her bio updated very current. Also, it's just good all around.
