My first horse was Hede, an English Toroughbred. She came into my life as an 11 year old. Most of her life she spent as a race horse. When she came to me, she had been away from races for just one year.

Even though she had gone races for such an amount of year, she was the most pleasent horse to ride. I never ever been on a horse that well behaved in canter, as an exempel.







Hede has been a very good horse to learn from, and I am so lucky that she stayed with us three years after Chia`s birth. She did a very good job raising CHia for me . After she did good job raising Chia`s mom, Cindy, pictured under.







So many years as a race horse costs. Hede left us 14. november, 1997 - 19 years old. Her last year I did everything I could to make her days the best possibly. But aching back and body increased, and I desided she could not take one more wet winter. As sad as it is, one day you just have to say enough is enough.

She still lives on inside me, and I wanted you all to get to know her too :)
