The book is about twenty-four hours in the life of a young woman with breast cancer. Hudson Catalina is struggling with a loss of hope and her own fears. She believes that cancer is the demon she has been destined to face. When she is taken hostage in an all-night market by a killer more deadly than cancer, her fate takes a twist she never imagined.
