Trading Partners
This is probably the best way to increase your collection with the widest variety of coasters. Len Rosol's Pennsylvania Beer Coaster Guide page has a nice Trading Forum Page. You can also join some of the Breweriana Clubs to get a list of trading partners.

The American Brewery Association has different ways for collectors to obtain coasters. You must be a member to participate in these exchanges. Follow the link to the ABA website for additional information. All of the below exchanges are free for members.

ABA Coaster Exchange - The coaster exchange does not contain microbrewery or foreign coasters. It is currently shipped with 1200 coasters.

ABA Micro Coaster Exchange - This exchange contains microbrewery and brewpub coasters and currently contains 1,468 coasters.

ABA Coaster Source - Coasters donated by ABA members, free for the price of a self-addressed envelope.

Attention New Collectors - Get 60+ different coasters from ABA Coaster Source. $10, plus $3.50 shipping (U.S. rate) per package. There are separate U.S. microbrewery and older regional/national coaster packages, 60-70 in each. All proceeds would be used to help run ABA Coaster Source.

These are a great way to pick up some excellent coasters at a good price, nice quality items.

Direct from the Breweries
Another favorite method is to write to the breweries and request samples of their coasters. A good site to find an address is gak's Regional Brewery Guides. Keep in mind that this method does not always work since coasters cost money to produce and some breweries as a policy do not give them away for the asking. An approach that seems to work best is to enclose a self addressed stamped envelope and include a couple of dollars for the cost of the coasters.
