genre: "JOHN-ruh" noun. A type of movie, for example comedy ("Tootsie"), war ("Platoon"), fantasy ("Edward Scissorhands"), drama ("Citizen Kane"), dramedy ("Forrest Gump"). That should sort out the matter for everyone.
