After Satan's Kingdom, the next thing we've found is in New Hartford. On route 44 between New Hartford and Pine Meadow there are two bridge abuttments, each of which was once a part of an enormous trestle. The one closest to New Hartford was the Central New England's, and can be seen through the foliage in the following picture:

All that ivy makes the above a terrible picture; I took this one out the windshield of my car while driving:

A great picture involving a drunk, this trestle, and a horse can be found in Connecticut Railroads: An Illustrated History. After New Hartford the line continues west very near the highway. Before it gets to Winsted, several neat bridges can be seen.
