A long time ago, before the earth was developed, there was a peaceful kingdom on the moon known as the moon kingdom. The moon kingdom was ruled by a fair and genlte woman named Queen Serinity. Queen Sernitiy had a daughter her name was Princess Serena. Princess Serena had a court. They were all princesses representing their own planets. There was Princess Mercury, Princess Mars, Princess Jupiter, and Princess Venus. There was the princesses guardians,Luna and Artimus, two cats one black or dark blue and one white. They have moons on their foreheads representing that they were from the moon. There was also Prince Darien. Prince Darien and Princess Serena were in love and one day were to be married. But before that could happen, the moon kingdom was attacked by the Negaverse. The Negaverse was an evil thing made up of dark people with evil hearts. Their ruler, Queen Bearal, was set to get revenge on Queen Serinity and all her people for casting her to be forever in the dark side of the moon. But some how the Negaverse excaped and they took attack on the moon kinddom. Prince Darien was going to fight in the war and he wasn't sure if he whould come back. So, Princess Serena gave him her locket to remember him the last time they were together. She watched as he went out to war but went after him when Queen Bearal hit him. The moon kingdom was destroyed and so was all of most of its people. Queen Serinity took the last of her strenth and sent Princess Serena, her court, Prince Darien, Lua, and Artimes to earth. She made it so the were born into new family and they didn't remember anything about their former exsistence. But, if the Negaverse ever came back, Luna and Artimes could awaken the sailor scouts (Princess Serena and her court in fighting form) to beat them once more.
