Camcorder/heavy duty camera mount

By "heavy duty" we mean "quite a bit more rigid than our "B" mount".
I would still be cautious about using heavy, valuable cameras.
A version of this mount was tested by a pilot using it
for tandem aerotow photography on a 225 Falcon. After
a number of "revisions" it seemed to
be behaving itself (mounted on the crossbar) with a fairly clunky camcorder.
Six months after we had made the last changes, I was
contacted by the pilot who used and is still using the prototype
and he was comfortable with the current configuration
and liked the small changes in our current offering. To date, after a year of
cautious sales,
all comments from numerous pilots using the mount on many different hang gliders
have been favorable. They like it, we like it.
Our own tests have been restricted
to our 2# camcorder and our Falcon 195 with running launches.

When a picture is shown taken from the mount, it is taken by a camera with
a focal length equivalent to approx. 50mm.
