LAST UPDATED:March 15, 2008

The name comes from Great Hill ("Mountain") where the rattlesnakes roam free and the laurel grows like nowhere else. The music comes from the hearts and souls of five party-loving pickers who grew up in the shadow of this small but significant bump in the flatlands of central Connecticut.

Well okay, "grew up" might be stretching things a bit. But you get the picture... right?

L-R Above: Michael:guitar,mandolin,vocals......Luke:Lead guitar, banjo, slide, vocals......Don:Fiddle, guitar, blues harp, vocals......John:Drums, dobro & Percussion......Dan:Bass

Our classy page isn't quite ready, but we're "pickin" away at it!! Check this out...

Okay... it's been a long time since this site was updated. We've got a box full of excuses and you can reach in and grab one, but after much browbeating by fans and others that just like to beat us, here's an updated list of where to find us in the next couple of weeks...

img Friday March 21st... The Winchester Cafe, Portland, Ct. 9-1:00 Great food! There's no better place to kick back and put your feet up after a day (or night) of Geocaching! Of course putting your feet to the dance floor is even better! Come on Over!

img Geraldines, West Springfield, Ma. Party Time in KIX Country!! R-U ready for the unexpected???!

That's it for this month, so check back in soon. If you'd like to see us somewhere else.... tell them, and tell us.

If you're not living life on the edge, you're taking up too much room.

For bookings either email us or call Luke at 860-342-0704, or Don at 860-342-4851

Pull on your party boots and come on down!

Be sure to bookmark this page and stop back soon. And feel free to E-Mail your comments or suggestions to Ghillband@aol.com

And don't forget... One tequila, two tequila, three tequila, floor.

Special Thanks to the folks at Angelfire Communications
