she entered my life gently
like a sweet rain on a warm spring day
and she touched me with soft cleansing hands
washing my tears away
her subtle smile shined upon me
showing me a new light
and she took my hands in hers
and told me everything would be alright
blindly, i embraced her, thanked her,
and walked away back into pain's arms
and she watched me with understanding jealousy (?)
and for some reason i couldn't see
how good she would be for me
and when i was away from her
my heart ached so indescribably
and i craved her touch emmensley
when i turned she was still standing there
smiling innocently and waiting for me
finally, i turned and ran back to her
her eyes showed me depths of love
and i held her for a moment
and ran my fingers through her beautiful silky hair
and, at last, we joined eternally.
