For every paid game of open bowling, the bowler will recieve a raffle ticket. The following Wednesday night, a drawing will be held to determine the winner of 5 free games of open bowling, if the owner of the ticket drawn is not present, there is no winner and this procedure will be repeated twice. If there is still no winner. Two drawings will be held the following week and so on. All tickets will be held until July 10,1999 when a drawing will be held for a new bowling ball. You must be present to win. The ball will be given to someone entered. Employees are not eligible. Star Lanes is hosting it's first ever Youth/Adult tournament and would like to extend this invitation to you to come and bowl with us!! This tournament will consist of three games, and trophes will be given to the top three places. Awards will be based on the highest series of the youth/adult pair. Adults will bowl scratch and youth will bowl with handicaps added to their score. Handicaps will be figured by taking 90% of the difference between their average and 200. Entry fee for this tournament is $20.00/pair with $10.00 for lineage, $1.00 for expenses and $9.00 going to benifit Covington County youth bowlers. Multiple entries will be permitted but same pairs can only place once. Squad times are as followes /July 14 at 7pm/July 17 at 9am, 12pm and 3pm/July 18 at 12pm and 3pm/July 24 at 9am, 12pm and 3pm/July 25 at 12pm and 3pm. Entries must be recieved at least 30 minutes before squad times. Extra squad times may set up on request. Please mail or bring your entries to Star Lanes 206 W. Starts June 12 - 10am and 2pm Trophies for girls and boys to be given away to the highest handicapped score in each division based on a 3 game series. One trophy to be given away for 12 to 20 entries. Entry Fee $5.50/person Free shoes. you must be 18 or younger to enter. Free tournament at the end of the summer for weekly trophy winners 3rd time weekly trophy winner recieves larger trophy. Pins added to your handcap if you do not win(3 pins/game). Averages determined by scores bowled in this event. handicap will be based on 90% of the difference between entrants average and 200 and any plus pins awarded will be used.
