Like I've said before, the activity I enjoy the most is auto racing. I've been racing since I was 4 years old, starting out racing radio control cars in 1986. In the days of racing r/c cars my highest finish was 9th in the state in 1990, and had professional sponsorship for two of those years. Then, in 1994 I started racing go-karts at River City Speedway in Bay City, Michigan. My first year of that resulted in an undefeated season, and the track championship in the jr. division, and the best looking kart overall. The years following that included a 3rd, a 4th, a 3rd, and a 2nd in championship points, with the last two years in the adult division. Then, in this last year of racing I began my move to full size stock cars. I had worked on my friend Don's car all year, and when he broke his wrist in an accident they needed a driver for a couple weeks, and I got my chance to move up. The first week was ok, and I brought the car home in one piece. The second week I evoided a couple accidents in the semi-feature and brought home my first ever stock car win, in only my second week of racing. For the upcoming season of 1999 I'm in the process of building my own 4-cylinder stock car to race, but I will be mainly focusing on what will hopefully be my last go-kart season championship. Then from there on it will be mainly stock cars for me.
