Turn- Offs

During the trip to the Singapore River, we 'accidentally' stumbled upon some things...

Cat Poo

This photo of a cat poo was taken on a bridge at the S'pore River. Imagine tourists (with vivid imaginations of a clean and green Singapore) seeing this during their tour. And some unlucky classmates accidentally stepped on those on the floor.

Rubbish

Unsightly rubbish could also be found on the ground and in the river. Singapore's image would be tarnished by such litter-bugs and tourist would have a bad impression of Singapore.

Solution: Get a cleaning company to clear the river of such 'matter'. CWO can also be done here...

Fearless animals-good or bad?

The animals, such as cats, pigeons and crows at the river seem to have developed 'immunity' towards humans and do not fear them. This is why I can take such close shots. Although there is nothing wrong, but they may pose a problem if they turn aggressive and start attacking humans. Bird poop can be a problem too.

Solution: Get a pest-control to get rid or chase crows away. Have them to monitor the animals as well.
