It's funny how I equate school with shooting people. This is probably because the kids come up to me all the time and say shit like, "So are ya gonna kill us all this year Shannon?" Maybe it's because I listen to Marilyn Manson, and wear black finger nail polish. Some may think it's gay or strange but it's not; I just think it looks cool, and it's better than damaging your hair with half a bottle of gel every morning.
Well for one, it has never been established whether or not the fellas at Columbine listened to Manson, although they did dress in a black attire at times, with a semi-gothic look. Yet, people still blame Marilyn Manson. Why?! If you can find one Manson song that glorifies killing people with guns then I'll shut up, but you can't because they don't exist. If you want to blame someone, blame almost every rap artist; all they sing about is - Ahem! Excuse me - all they TALK about in their childish nursury rhymes are cars(6 fo's), clothes, fucking, and killing people who are on their territory, or live on a different block(ha ha--protect my block--ha ha). So if you're gonna blame anyone or anything, balme RAP. . .it's crap.
It takes the rare, vulnernable person to go out and kill people after watching a movie or listening to an album. They have to be mentally sick to begin with. But when discussing Manson and his influence, this point is irrelevant; he isn't even capable of influencing these sick people to go out and kill; he DOES NOT say "hey kiddies, go out and kill for your master."
