In response to this quandry I would simply state that Shagari Alleyne is the hope and pride of all that Kentucky is. He is the very footpath that Kentucky will walk by throughout his career. He is going to be the most dominating force that Kentucky has ever seen or will see. Shagari Alleyne is a freshman at Kentucky that will dominate the NCAA. My friends, Shagari Alleyne is kin to Jesus. He is your and my life for the next four years. I hope you will take him seriously throughout his teneur at Kentucky and cherish him for all your life. God be with Shagari Alleyne and all he stands for. Enjoy the Website! Zach Ladd & Jordan Garland Founders of the Shagari Alleyne Fan Club --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------As most of you probably already know Kentucky lost to Georgia 65-57. This is a disgrace, not only did Kentucky lose to an unranked opponent, but Shagari Allyene didn't get to play. His legacy is being bashed by a school that is losing because he is not playing. So I say, lets stand up! Let's boycott Kentucky basketball coach Tubby Smith. He is a disgrace to the honor of Kentucky basketball. Just his name "Orlando" makes you know he doesn't belong here. I hope you feel the same way I do about this. Anyone who wants to boycott can contact me at my email address at the bottom of the page. In regret, Zach Ladd Founder of Shagari Alleyne Fan Club----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Fellow Fan Club Members, I am proud to announce that Kentucky just beat Tennessee last night, 69-68. Kentucky's Polish big guy Obrzut played ten minutes and had 1 turnover and 2 fouls. What a disgrace! Put Shagari Alleyne in the game, for pete's sake! Even though Shagari Alleyne didn't add to the win, we certainly got our fair share of Tennesee. Some of you might ask, does he now withdraw his boycott against Tubby? Certainly Not, anybody with the name Orlando is still being boycotted by myself and hopefully everyone who gets on this website.Even though Tubbs got his 300th win, he is still not playing the players to their full potential and is obviously not giving Shagari enough playing time to grow his skills for the game. One day Shagari Alleyne will rise up higher than any one has ever risen at Kentucky (at least vertically). Thanks for all your love and support.---Shagari Alleyne Club Founder, Zach Ladd----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------You may think this website is totally devoted to Shagari Alleyne but in the immortal words of Lee Corso..."Not so fast my friend!". This website is also about Kentucky basketball in general. Kentucky is highly regarded as one of the most classic basketball teams in the NCAA's history. This isn't just opinion it's fact. I'm pretty sure that Kentucky has one 9 national championships, and only UCLA has more(they won all their championships in like the 50's and 60's so it really doesn't count). Even though Kentucky has had good teams in the past and the present, that doesn't mean that Kentucky is championship bound. When looking at Kentucky you might see their top ten ranking but I see all the problems that they face. The first problem is their depth. They don't have any key players off the bench except Barbour and I think Alleyne. This can be very crucial because when they play teams with a bench, the game WILL come down to the wire. You won't be able to solve this problem until next year unless you start giving bench players more playing time. The second problem Kentucky faces is being a first-half team. You have to change this or you will have a lot of close games. This has almost proved to be fatal when they played Mississippi St. and Tennessee. They got off to a big lead and blew it in the second half. I think this problem comes from their lack of depth. The third and final problem I see with Kentucky is their coach, Tubby Smith (still being boycotted). I watch what he does during the game when they are losing he's sitting right there on the bench. He needs to get up and give the players motivation and strength. If he's battling on the sideline then the players will be motivated on the court. Even though I see these 3 crucial problems, there is time to improve. Their next matchup is versus Notre Dame. This is a very good time to improve their skills. They will face a very good, unranked team that will challenge them every moment of the game. Pittsburgh found this out but still came out with the win. If we shoot good and rebound we have a good chance of a blowout. I'll be with Kentucky all the way hopefully until the championship!---Founder of Shagari Alleyne Fan Club, Zach Ladd-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------As I sit amazed about what just happened I think about when people ask me why I like college basketball. I've been asked numerous times if I liked the NBA and I've said no. I say no simply because they don't play with the same passion, the same heart that college players do. NBA players are just in it for the money. I just watched a unranked Florida St. team beat a #11 ranked North Carolina team, 90-81 in overtime. I say that I was amazed because at one point Florida St. was down 24. They never were tied during the regular game until their last shot. They scored the first nine points in overtime, then McCants for North Carolina hit a three. That was the only overtime points that North Carolina had. People ask me why I like college basketball and this paragraph is my reply. Then I say I don't just like college basketball, I love it.-Founder of the Shagari Alleyne Fan Club, Zach Ladd--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In reference to my boycott on Tubby Smith I would like to say that co-founder of this established fan club, Jordan Garland fully backs me up. He says he thinks that Tubby is a crappy coach and that he deserves to be thrown in a dumpster at the nearest Piggly Wiggly. Tubby Smith even though with his near perfect record this year is not fulfilling the coaching duties that us fans demand. Rick Pitino has wooped his butt every time he's matched up against him. Tubby can't coach worth a flip and his activity on the bench is apaling. He has NO right to be coach of such an esteemed figure such as Shagari Alleyne. Alleyne fits at Kentucky, but "Orlando" doesn't. Join us as we enthusiastically boycott coach Tubby Smith!- Founders of the Shagari Alleyne Fan Club, Zach Ladd and Jordan Garland-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------For everyone out there I would like to say that I appreciate all the love and support for this fan club. As you know Kentucky beat Notre Dame today. Even though Kentucky won and will move past Wake Forest in the rankings, I believe that there is something greater on my mind. I am not Catholic, but yet Baptist. Even though I'm Baptist I still believe that anyone that is sick or hospitalized deserves to be remembered in our prayers. I was watching the Catholic channel when I heard that Friar Benedict Grouschel had been hurt in a car accident. I had watched part of his show earlier and came to think highly of the man. He broke his right arm and leg and has a stiff neck. If you would, remember Friar Benedict in your prayers. Thanks. Zach Ladd, Founder of the Shagari Alleyne Fan Club-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Sadly, we just lost to Vanderbilt. We're still boycotting "Orlando" because Shagari Alleyne was only put in for 2 minutes. This is repulsive and it is the only reason we lost. Thanks Tubbs, Zach Ladd, Club Founder (visit www.angelfire.com/band2/radioactivecarbonite)-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Okay guys, I know I've missed a lot of games and some of them have been great, but I've became lazy and I realize this. While I've been gone Kentucky has been on a rampage winning their last 9 games going into the NCAA tournament. They won the SEC tournament by crushing Florida. Now that you know their in the tourney, you might ask...well, which seed did they get? I will answer that question with an amazing #1 seed baby. Put on your gloves and lets get to work because we are gonna win this thing! We're going all the way to Texas and then we'll knock everyone down with a whoopin stick! Well...not only was Kentucky a #1 seed, they were the number one out of the number ones. They're awesome baby! Hey, even Dick Vitale says and wants Kentucky to win it. When he picks Kentucky over Duke, you know we have something special. Well anyways maybe in the first game vs. Lehigh we'll be able to get Shagari some valuable playoff experience. Who's #1? Kentucky!-Zach Ladd, One of the Founders of the Shagari Alleyne Club------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Scouting Report Along with Lukasz Obrzut, the first 7-footer on the roster since Sam Bowie in the early 1980's ... First, Kentucky just beat Florida A&M 96-76. Second we get to advance to the second round. Third and lastly, we get to sleep for a day. This is key we need rest so we'll be energized to play our competition. Thanks for all your support!-Zach Ladd, Co-Founder of Shagari Alleyne Fan Club---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------DIE TUBBS!!!!!!!!! JUST KILL YOURSELF!!!!!!!!!!!We lost...See you next year or maybe during the off-season. WE ARE STILL BOYCOTTING TUBBY "ORLANDLO" SMITH. KEEP ON KEEPIN ON. I am delighted to tell you that Shagari is playing at the top of his game. He posted career highs in points, rebounds, and blocks with 11 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 blocks. He got player of the game for his performance and led Kentucky to a 71-40 win vs. Morehead State. Shagari is still reserve center so keep praying and still boycott Tubby.
