There was once a foreign student who walked the hallways of Monterey High... and was shocked with what he saw around him. And that student was... me.

Thanks for visiting Patrick de Vera's webpage! This web page outlines some of my best works from Monterey High School under Ms. Nancy Harray. Most of my works show some opinions, ideas, and views regarding some of the readings in class, issues that concern everyone, and stories.

I consider this portfolio as not only a compilation of the best literary pieces I have written, but something that chronicles my experiences in Monterey High School and shows some of the things I have learned,  gained, and picked up along the way during my brief stay in the United States.

...So this probably isn't the end of our journey, but the beginning of something bigger and brighter as we move forward.
