A Little About Myself

Hey y'all. My name is Megan, and I'm a single mommy from Bloomingdale, Ga. I was born in Savannah, Ga and I've lived in the area all my life. My parents were divorced when I was eight years old. I lived with my mom until I was fourteen, and hit my rebellious stage. I moved in with my real father for not quite a year. I went back to live with my mom when my dad decided that he didn't want a teenager anymore, and moved to Florida with his new wife. He's since moved back to Savannah after his marriage failed, and now we speak about four times a year.

My Angel's name is Annabel Rose. I got the name from my fav Edgar Allan Poe poem... hopefully you can figure out which one. She was born on March 10th of this year. She is the light of my life. I don't know what I'd do without her. She's spoiled rotten, and can get on my last nerve, but I can't help but love her. I am truely blessed to have her.

 

 

I've got an older brother, Seth, and two younger sisters, Chelsea and Blythe. Bubby (Seth) is 21 and a Marine stationed in Japan. He's not coming home for the holidays and we really miss him, but we're all very proud of him. Chelsea and Blythe go to Groves High. Chelsea's a Senior this year, and Blythe is a Junior.

My marriage, as short as it was, was very rough. I was about 6 1/2 months pregnant when we got married, and I knew then that it wouldn't last. I was pressured into it more than anything. If I knew then what I know now, it never would have happened. Chris (Annabel's father), and I got married on December 31,2005. About ten months and three police reports later, I filed for divorce. We're still going through the divorce. I'm living with my mom, and Chris gave up our apartment and moved back in with his parents. Though, he really didn't have much choice since he was out of work. He never could hold a job.

 

 

Annabel and I are since doing wonderfully. My job is going very well and I love it. Annabel has her first three teeth, and has started walking. She's getting fast. She's all over the house and into everything. She is still wobbley, and loses her balance but it's adorable.
