Network Security
A network is basically a system of interconnected computers. There is no way you can be 100% sure that your machine is safe.
Network security can be broken down into two classes: transit security and traffic regulation.
Transit security are methds used to secure data as it transits a network.
There are two ways to try and secure data :
create a private network, or
packet the level of encryption.
Traffic security are methods which regulate what packets may transit the network.
There are three types of traffic regulation : router, firewall, and host.
