Code of Conduct
- No cheating. This includes use of items and programs which alter your game
play experience beyond the specifications mandated by Blizzard Entertainment.
- No killing of other players (PKing), with the exception of dueling. Both
players must agree to engage in the duel.
- No distribution of any KLS passwords to anyone. (If you feel you are being
pressured, please contact the nearest Baron.)
- All guild characters must bear the -KLS tag at the end of their name. (Note:
This is accomplished by starting a new character, which is required upon acceptance
into the guild. If you are not willing to part with your old characters, stop
reading now.)
- The rank of Advisor is required to play publicly with KLS tagged characters.
The character must be at least level 70 before public use.
- Trading for items from outside of the KLS is not permitted by any member
ranked below village guard, however any member with a rank of townsperson and
a Merchant's Badge may trade for items from outside the guild as well. All member
ranked commoner and above may trade freely with all members.
Note: Due to Excessive Dupes and Hacked items trading out side of the
clan has been completely banned until further notice.
- Treat your fellow players, both inside and out of the guild's ranks, with
respect and maturity at all times, and keep swearing to a minimum.
Requirements for Membership
- Use of the Internet chat program
ICQ, or a program using the ICQ protocols to
connect to it's user net, is required.
- All members are required to be at least 15 years of age.
Recruiting rules
- Members must achieve the rank of Village Guard or higher to recruit, all
others may invite others to join by using the "enlist" option.
- Applicants must be pre-screened by a member of the High Council. Magistrates
are permitted to interview, with permission from their Councilman.
- Upon acceptance into the guild, the applicant will spend no fewer than three
days at the rank of "Wayfarer", upon which they must be tested for promotion
by a Councilman (or a Magistrate, with permission).
- Previous to filing the join form, applicants must read and agree to obey
the rules and ranks of the KLS.
Meeting Rules
- The highest ranking member present has control of the channel.
- When asked to be silent, please do so.
- All members must await their turn to speak.
- Disruptive behavior will not be tolerated, and violators will be first warned,
then banned from the channel for the duration of the meeting.
High Council Meetings
- Each Councliman may bring one speaker to the meeting. If you wish to speak
before the High Council, don't hesitate to ask a Councilman.
- Speakers are to wait in the clan channel until called upon to speak.
Inactivity
- You must be seen in the clan channel, or in a clan game, at least once every
two weeks. The channel bot monitors activity, so even if no one is there, your
presence is made known.
- If you are not seen within a two week period, your name and information
is moved from the roster to the inactive members list.
- If one month from your being declared inactive passes, and you are not heard
from in that time, your name and information will be stricken from the inactive
member list, and you will be officially removed from the KLS. You may return,
at the High Council's discretion.
- You may voluntarily declare yourself inactive, for whatever reason, and
be placed on indefinite inactive status. Upon your return, you will be placed
back in the same rank as you held before.
