Sooo! You want to advance in Rank but are not quite sure how to go about it... Well you have come to the right place. Below is a list of information on what will be required from members before they can advance to the next rank. Read Learn Memorize.... when you are ready to advance to the next rank post a message in the forum requesting to be tested and list which rank you wish to be tested for. Any High council member magistrate and or Senator can test members who wish to advance in rank.
  Non Member to Wayfarer:
   
  1. Check out the website determine if this guild is the right place for your style of game play
  2. If you like what you see fill out a join form and click the submit button
  3. Make sure you follow all the instructions!
  4. You will be contacted via ICQ within a few days for a prescreening evaluation After passing the prescreening evaluation you will be tested on a few guild fundamentals if you read the following information there should no problem passing the test.
    1. Make sure to read the KLS credo.
    2. On the Rules page make sure to read the code of conduct.
    3. On the Ranks page read what the duties and privileges of a wayfarer are.
    4. On the Ranks page under privileges of wayfarer you will see an asterisk at the end two privileges you will need to scroll down and read, what it says there in a nut shell that explains the naming restrictions.
After the test next comes a training session.... during this session we will...
  1. Make sure you under stand what the naming restrictions are.
  2. Have you choose a clan name ... choose wisely because you will be stuck with this name through out your stay here.
  3. Get you registered on our forum
  4. Make your first forum post and introduce your self to the guild
  5. Have you create your first kls account and first kls char... you may choose any char class you like
  6. Meet in clan channel, screener will verify you followed the naming restrictions correctly on your char account name and char name
  7. If everything is in order the screener will then promote you to regular on the bot.
  8. You will be cautioned about handing out passwords... only hc members are allowed to do that.
  9. We will make sure you understand that as a wayfarer you are allowed only one clan account and one clan char and that you may only play that char in the new member game you are not to be rushed.
  10. You will then be given the new member game name and password
  11. Last reminder Remember..... All Wayfarers Must Play Only In New Member Games and are not to be Rushed or power acted.. WELCOME TO THE GUILD!
  Wayfarer to Commoner:
   
  1. Must have been a wayfarer for at least three days and your main Char must have a cvl of at least 25 or your char must have a cvl of at least 30 and have completed all Quests in normal
  2. Must know the ranking structure of the KLS
  3. Must must be able to list the villages
  4. Must know what the duties and privileges of a commoner are
  5. Must pass commoner test
  Commoner to Townsman:
   
  1. Must have been a commoner for at least one week
  2. Your main char must have a cvl of at least 50
  3. Your main char must have completed all quests through Night Mare difficulty
  4. Must know what the duties and privileges of a townsman are
  5. Must know who the Baron Magistrate and Senator of your village is.
  6. Must know the rules of the KLS
  7. Must know how the vault operates (this one is on hold until the vault gets revamped)
  8. Must know how to edit your profile in the forum
  9. Must know who the HC is and what they are there for.
  10. Must pass townsman test
  Townsman to Village Guard:
   
  1. Must have been a townsman for at least two weeks
  2. Your main char must have a cvl of at least 75
  3. Your main char must have completed all quests through Hell difficulty
  4. Must know what the duties and privileges of a village guard are
  5. Must know how members can earn badges and win awards
  6. Must have earned a Path Finder Badge
  7. Your main char must have a cvl of at least 75
  8. Your main char must have beaten Baal in hell diff
  9. Pass test for village guard
  Village Guard to Advisor
   
  1. Must have been village guard for at least two weeks
  2. Must know what the duties and privileges of an adviser are
  3. Must be able to answer questions from lower ranked members
  4. Must have earned a Tourney Badge
  5. Must Know what all the badges are and how each one can be earned.
  6. Must know all titles in the KLS and how they can be won.
  7. Pass test for advisor
  The Senate (This is not an earned Rank it is an elected body)
to be eligible to run for a senate seat a member must have done and completed the following..
   
  1. Must have been a member for at least 2 months
  2. Must have a rank of at least Village Guard
  3. Must have earned a Path Finder Badge
  4. Must have earned a Tourney Badge
  5. Must have earned a Recruiting Badge
  6. Must have earned a Trainers Badge
  7. Must be elected by a majority vote

 
  Note: Each member ranked commoner and above will be permitted one vote in a senate election
Members of the High Council are not eligible to sit on the senate
