Main Concepts:
There are an infinite number of worlds in the WarCraft Universe, each created by a race of god-like entities known as the Titans. These worlds are connected by the Twisting Nether, a realm of chaotic magic and dead entities. The Twisting Nether is full of evil entities, including the Burning Legion, a race of Demons, and the Scourge, the undead spirits of those that have died..
The Titans appointed Sargeras to police these evil beings and protect the worlds they created, however the corruption of these demons soon drove Sargeras mad, destroying his soul and placing him at the head of the Burning Legion. -A group of powerful mages founded the Order of Tirisfal in Azeroth in order to safeguard it from the dangers of the Twisting Nether. One Guardian is appointed in the Order of Tirisfal and given immense magical power to combat the Burning Legion. When this Guardian's time is up, this power is passed on to another of the order...
Timeline Ancient History 9420 The Ancient Elves appear in Azeroth and found a society on the continent of Kalimdor. Experimenting with primitive magic, they soon lure the Burning Legion to Azeroth. The Legion, having lost its own homeworld through unknown circumstances, invades Azeroth hoping to procure its innate magic. The resulting war leads to the destruction of nearly half the continent of Kalimdor, causing it to sink into the Great Sea.
Unable to defeat the Burning Legion on their own, the Ancient Elves employ the aid of the Dragons in order to banish the Demons back into the Twisting Nether. Four of the five Dragon Aspects, Alexstraza, Nozdormu, Malygros, and Ysera use their magic to form the Demon Soul to drive away the Burning Legion. Unknown to them at the time, Neltharion (later to be known as Deathwing), the fifth Aspect, did not use his energy to create the artifact, leaving him more powerful than the other aspects.
The Ancient Elves vow to never use magic again, for fear of the Legion's return.
5420 Tension arises among the Ancient Elves, as some refuse to give up using magic. This causes them to split into two seperate factions, the Night Elves, non-magic users, and the High Elves, those who wished to use magic again. Because the Night Elves feared the Legion's return, the High Elves were exiled across the Great Sea to the east. The Elves found Quel'thalas in northern Lordaeron, and wars between the Elves and Trolls in that region commence.
2320 The Human Empire of Arathor is founded in Lordaeron.
2120 The High Elves continue to fight their war with the Trolls of Quel'thalas, however they are soon on the verge of loosing the war. In a desperate move, they seek the help of the Human Empire of Arathor. The High Elves promise to teach the humans magic in exchange for help against the Trolls. The combined armies of the Humans and Elves soon wipe out the majority of trolls in Quel'thalas.
2020 The Human recklessly experiment with their newly gained magics. However, this soon brings the Burning Legion back to Azeroth. In order to safeguard the Humans from the destructive power of the Burning Legion, the Guardians found the Order of Tirisfal in Azeroth to secretly fight a war against the Demons, unknown to the public.
620 Due to internal struggles and the pressures of over-expansion, the Human Empire of Arathor fragments into seven nations: Azeroth, Lordaeron, Stromgarde, Kul Tiras, Gilneas, Dalaran, and Alterac. 440 Aegwynn is born, and soon becomes the Guardian of Azeroth.
535 The Guardian Aegwynn defeats Sargeras, the Lord of the Burning Legion, in single combat, imprisoning his body in a Tomb in the Great Sea near Azeroth.. However, Sargeras secretly implanted his spirit in Aegwynn's womb, waiting to take control of her future child.
540 The Burning Legion, upon defeat of their leader, begin a new plan for invasion. They begin by corrupting the Orcs of Draenor, turning them into ruthless, bloodthirsty warriors.
545 The Orcish Hordes decimate the Draenei, a race that at the time controlled a large part of the Orcish homeworld, Draenor. This enables them to take full control of Draenor. Having no one left to kill, they begin to fight among themselves.
545 The Orcish Hordes decimate the Draenei, a race that at the time controlled a large part of the Orcish homeworld, Draenor. This enables them to take full control of Draenor. Having no one left to kill, they begin to fight among themselves.
The Orc Gul'dan is born in Draenor.
547 Anduin Lother is born in the lands of Azeroth.
555 Gul'dan is starting to show an immense talent in the art of Orcish Magik, and is put under the tutelage of the greatest Orc shaman Ner'zhul. Ner'zhul soon grows envious of the inherent power of the young Orc's Magik, and binds their souls together so he can watch over his disciple.
559 As Aegwynn's death approached, she set out to find a powerful human to sire her heir. If she gives her Guardian power to her child, it will allow her to continue her legacy without having to pass her power onto another in the order. Aegwynn chooses Nielas Aran, the Court Conjurer of Azeroth, to be the father of her child. Medivh is born to Aegwynn, who soon departs after passing on her knowledge and power to the newborn. Little did she know that Sargeras' spirit had already inhabited the child.
564 The child prince Llane is born to King Wrynn III and Lady Varia.
Khadgar was born in Dalaran.
565 Gul'dan discovers the Twisting Nether and becomes under the tutelage of the Daemon Kil'jaeden.
570 Gul'dan forms the Shadow Council, a group of Orcish Warlocks who are silently manipulating everything within the Horde. The Orcish Warlocks also have the ability to project themselves in the Twisting Nether. The Shadow Council barley manages to forestall the Orcish infighting.
571 On Medivh's twelfth (Or thirteenth, due to a Blizzard error) birthday, Medivh's power is unleashed and Medivh falls into a deep coma. Medivh is taken to Northshire Abbey for recovery. However, the Daemonlord Sargeras takes revenge on Aegwynn by using this time to corrupt her son while in his catatonic state.
577 On Llane's 13th birthday, Medivh suddenly appears. Now a man, he gives the castle and it's people his thanks for watching over him, and gives the prince Llane a magic hourglass. "So long as the glass never emptied, the reign of King Wrynn would not fail." Medivh creates the tower of Karazhan in the lower extension of Azeroth's Red Ridge Mountains, and soon delved into the arts of necromancy. He eventually learned how to spiritually enter the Twisting Nether, where he found the Orcish Warlocks...
580 Gul'dan's disciples are soon tormented through the Twisting Nether, contacted by the super powerful force of Medivh. Gul'dan seeks the council of Kil'jaeden who also senses the entity, and is amazed by it power. Medivh and Gul'dan make contact for the first time, and through several meetings, it is agreed that Medivh will give the Horde a new realm to conquer, and give Gul'dan the location of near godlike power in exchange for the destruction of the one force that can stop the great Sorcerer....the Azerothian army. Medivh soon opens the rift between Azeroth and Draenor, which would later become the Dark Portal.
581 Khadgar travels to the tower of Karazhan and becomes Medivh's apprentice. He soon begins to see visions of the past and future in the tower.
583 Medivh begins to drain the energies from Azeroth, causing crops to die out, people to get sick and become easily agitated, and on one historic night, the sands of the hour glass run to the bottom and an attack is heard at the front gates. Orcish warriors spill through the doors of the castle. King Wrynn sends Prince Llane and Lady Varia away to saftey, and is not heard from again. The orcs are beaten back, and disappear into the swamp.
The Orcs returned to their base near the rift and begin to quarrel among themselves. The Orc Kilrogg Deadeye and the Ogre Cho'gall, two highly respected clan Chieftains, blamed each other for the catastrophic defeat. The other orcs soon rallied to either side and the Shadow Council, busy discussing whether or not to close the portal, however they could not stop the incoming fight. Gul'dan realized that the Horde needed a powerful leader. He soon came across an Orc called "Blackhand the Destroyer." Blackhand, was of course, under the complete control of Gul'dan. 584 Llane is pronounced the new King of Azeroth. Orcs and Humans raid each other's bases and outposts for a few years.
590 Garona comes as an Emissary to Karazhan. Although she was sent by Gul'dan to spy on the Magus Medivh and the Humans, she soon became friends with Khadgar and the Magus.
Using a series of FarSeeing spells within the walls of the tower, Khadgar is able to see visions of the past, slowly uncovering the secrets of Medivh.
594 King Llane is visited by Aegwynn, warning him of her son. She had visited Medivh earlier, and sensing the evil inside him, tried to destroy him. After an intense battle of magiks, Medivh won, banishing her from his sight. This battle left both combatants drained. Aegwynn tells Llane of Medivh's plans and how he led the orcs into Azeroth. She warns the king to destroy Medivh before his power becomes too great.
598 The events of WarCraft I begin. The Abbot of Northshire Abbey has a vision of Lothar, a great knight who had been missing for nearly twenty months. Lothar disappeared on a quest to find the Tomb of Divinity. The Abbot sees the knight, severely wounded in the Dead Mines. After a lengthy search, he is rescued.
Griselda, the daughter of Blackhand, runs off with the outlaw Turok and his band of Ogres. Blackhand sends Orgrim Doomhammer, an aspiring general from the Thunderlord Clan, to find her....and kill her.
599 Thrall is born.
600 A group of Azeroth's finest embark on a expedition to Medivh's Tower on an assassination mission. Among the group were Medivh's best friend, Lord Lothar, his apprentice, Khadgar, and the half-orc Garona. While being attacked, Medivh sent messages of trauma through the Nether. Gul'dan, seeing an this as an opportunity to take the location of the Tomb of Sargeras directly, delged into Medihv's subconscious. Unfortunately, Medivh was slain while Gul'dan was in his mind, which caused the orc to slip into a coma.
After Medivh's death, his spirit was free from the control of Sargeras. Before leaving, he gathered up the magic from Karazhan, gaining knowledge of past and future events and becoming a great Prophet. He then transformed into a crow and flew away, not to be heard from for many years.
Lost without the guidance of Gul'dan, Blackhand soon falls prey to an assassination by his most trusted general, Orgrim Doomhammer.
Garona, the half-Orc, assassinates King Llane and brings his heart to Gul'dan (Romantic, Eh?). Lord Lothar becomes the Regent Lord of the Kingdom of Azeroth while Llane's son, Prince Varian Wrynn, is too young to procure the throne.
A war breaks out between the clans over who will now lead the Blackrock Spire clan. Rend and Maim, sons of Blackhand, battle with Doomhammer, as well as Thrall's father Durotan, leader of the Frost Wolf clan, over dominance. Durotan is killed by Rend and Maim, and young Thrall is abanddoned on the battlefield. After the battle, the Human Lieutenant Blackmoore finds baby Thrall and raises him as a slave. Doomhammer takes control of the Horde, and names himself Warchief. 602 Leaving no stone unturned, Orgrim tries to find out everything about the inner workings of the Horde. To this end, he had Garona undergo intense torture until she reveals the secrets of the Shadow Council. Garona, still alive after the torture, goes into hiding for many years.
603 Gul'dan wakes from his coma to find his tower under attack. After his disciples run out of energy, he is captured, and is forced to come under the power of Doomhammer.
The Horde destroys Stormwind Keep, claiming the areas of Azeroth and Khaz Modan. Lord Lothar flees the citizens of Azeroth in exile across the Great Sea to Lordaeron.
Lothar meets with King Terenas of Lordaeron and the leaders of the 6 other Human Nations to form the Alliance of Lordaeron.
604 Six years have passed since the beggining of the first war, and the Orcs construct ships of war to bare them across the Great Sea, to finally catch up with the Humans once again....
The orcs invade Lordaeron, and succeed in destroying the Elven homeland of Quel'thalas.
Using the powerful Demon Soul artifact, Nekros Skullcrusher, a powerful warlock under Zuluhed of the Dragonmaw Clan, captured and controlled the Dragon Queen Alexstraza, forcing her to breed dragons for the orcs. Deathwing plots to later use Alexstraza to recreate his brood and reclaim Azeroth for the dragons.
During an attempt to parley with the Orcish Warchief Orgrim Doomhammer, Lord Lothar is double crossed, as he and his men are attacked as soon as they set foot on Blackrock Spire. Lothar was killed in this assault. Gul'dan sets out to sea in search of the Tomb of Sargeras. Apon finding it, he releases the ancient Daemonlord. Orgrim Doomhammer, suspicious of the Orcish Warlock's intentions, orders that Gul'dan be killed. He sends a war party after Gul'dan, who is successful in killing him.
Grim Batol, the capital of the Orcish Horde, falls. Thanks to the efforts of Rhonin the mage, Vereesa the Ranger, and Falstad the Gryphon Rider, Alexstraza was freed and the Demon Soul was destroyed. This allows the other four Dragon Aspects to stop Deathwing's plan to conquer Azeroth.
The Alliance is successful in driving the Orcish Hordes out of Azeroth, and Khadgar succeeds in destroying the cursed Dark Portal that allowed the orcs passage to these lands. However, the rift between these two worlds still remained, so the Citadel of Nethergarde was constructed to guard the rift from reopening.
Varian Wrynn becomes old enough to accept the mantle of kinghood, and is placed upon the throne of Azeroth. Stormwind Keep is rebuilt, now under the name New Stormwind.
605 With the Orcs defeated, the Alliance sends out parties to round up the remaining orcs to be placed in reservation and prison camps. They hope that by imprisoning them, they will be able to pacify their lust for battle. Orgrim Doomhammer was captured, along with the Blackrock, Dragonmaw, and Black Tooth Grin clans. The Burning Blade clan was ultimately destroyed by Uther Lightbringer, and now only the Bleeding Hollow Clan remained unaccounted for. Warcraft II: Beyond the Dark Portal
606 A freak darkness sweeps over the Black Morass, as the rift, guarded at the Citadel of Nethrgarde, begins to open once more. The mages at the Citadel begin to hear the sounds of a marching army, as the Bleeding Hollow Clan re-enters the rift, returning to Draenor. The Dark Portal is once again reconstructed. The portal had been reopened by Ner'zhul, who now commanded the Shadow Moon clan, and who had become Warchief of the remaining clans of Draenor. While the Humans enter the new portal to destroy the orcish threat, Ner'zhul sends his troops through the portal to obtain three artifacts necessary for him plans to open more portals: the Book of Medivh, the Jeweled Sceptor of Sargeras, and the Eye of Dalaran. In order to destroy the Dark Portal between Draenor and Azeroth, the humans also require the Book of Medivh, and Gul'dan Skull. They manage to retrieve the book from Ner'zhul, and the skull from the mighty dragon Deathwing. Successful in this, Khadgar uses the Book of Medivh and Gul'dan Skull to destroy the Dark Portal once and for all.
However, Ner'zhul was able to learn enough from the book to cast the Spell of Conjuration, creating a new portal. As the Portal opens, the very fabric of Draenor begins to tear apart. The world begins to crumble under their feet. Ner'zhul and his army enter the portal, leaving behind the remaining orcs on Draenor to die. The human heroes, seeing that this world was dying, quickly entered into the portal to chase Ner'zhul and save themselves. Draenor is destroyed.
607 The Alliance gathers up the remaining orcs that fled during Ner'zhul's attack on Azeroth. They begin to grow uneasy as the interment camps are reopened. A few scattered Orc clans evade the Alliance's wrath and begin to live in the harsh wilderness.
620 Thrall, now grown, realizes the torment he has been put through as Lieutenant Blackmoore's slave, and escapes. He sets off on a quest to regain his lost heritage. Thrall succeeds in reuniting a number of renegade clans and leads them in revolt against the Alliance Regional Wardens. In addition, he enlists the aid of Orgrim Doomhammer, Korgath Bladefist, Kilrogg Deadeye, and many other legendary Orcish heroes in his revolt.
621 The Human Alliance, already torn by disagreements over what to do with the orcs after the second war, begin to bicker and quarrel at the thought of the Orcish Horde reuniting. They soon begin fighting among themselves. Thall is named Warchief of the Horde, and helps the orcs to release the Burning Legion's control over them, returning them to their Shamanistic roots.
624 Ner'zhul, after traveling through the Twisting Nether, is captured by Kil'jaden. He is transformed into a Lich King by the Burning Legion, and becomes the new leader of the Undead monstrocities known as the Scourge. He returns to Azeroth, using his undead army to weaken its inhabitants and pathe the way for the Legion's arrival.
The Burning Legion under the command of Archimonde see the weakness of the humans from their battles with the orcs and decide it is time to strike. They descend upon Azeroth in a blaze, ready to finally take this world that they had so long dreamed of destroying...
The Alliance and the Horde prepare for the largest battle they will ever have to face.. TO BE CONTINUED...

Purp...Give me your money! Is that a threat?
