If Mobe were to be carrying around a bag he would probably have Oreos, books, swim trunks, towel, and a notebook. The reason Eric would probably be carrying oreos is because he is a bigger kid and he is eating oreos when him, Sarah, and Dale were in his attic. He would carry books because he is a very smart person. He would carry his swim trunks because he loves to swim and is part of the swim team. He would carry a towel not for swimming but when he gets into trouble or gets really nervouse he sweats really badly. And lastly the notebook he would be carrying a notebook because that is the way him and Sarah communicated when she wasnt talking.

There is alot of conflict in this story the conflict between mark and mobe, DAle and mobe, and mr. byrnes and mobe. I think that these people are going to come together and gang up on mobe one because mobe took marks girlfriend, two because mobe and sarah wrote about dale in the Crispy Pork Rinds, and three Mobe knows what is going on with Sarah Byrnes and why she isnt talking.

In this part of the book they are in Lemry's class talking about abortion. The class is arguing back and forth about wheather abortion should be legal or illegal. It says that jody had an abortion but she wanted to keep the kid and in this mark is against abortion but he made jody get one. If I were JOdy i would have gotten very upset and spoke up.

In this book there are many different settings. One of the settings is at the school where ellerby, brittan, and mobe swim. Another place is the hospital where Sarah Byrnes was put because she quit talking. A couple other places would be Mobes house and Dale Thortons house. These places are significant because these are where the main characters are at during the story.

This quote is about wheather or not the world is a good or bad place. IT also discusses who it is good for and who it is bad for. According to Kathy Gould it only makes it a bad place for Sarah Byrnes. Elleryby thinks that its a bad place because Sarah Byrnes has no real safe place.

Quote 2:"She looked like a beat-up old container or something. She looked dead." This is the point in the story when Sarah Byrnes was not talking. She was at the hospital and Mobe went to go see her and she still wasnt talking to him but this day she looked worse. He talked to a counselor and she todl him to keep coming to see her and to act normal and keep tlaking to her about things they would talk about if she was talking back.

I think a really cool, nice, laidback character is Lemry, Eric's swim coach.She helps the team to make sure that every kid is at his or her fastest time wich helps them maintain or improve their speed.Lemry,in Eric's words, puts alot into the team and he would die before whimping out on her.

There are two main characters Eric(Mobe) and Sarah Byrns. These two are friends and Eric is bigger and Sarah is scared on her face and on her hands. Eric loves to swim he has a coach and her name is Lemry.The setting takes place in the school Eric and Sarah are both in eighth grade.

There are four main characters in this book their names are Bridget,Lena, Carmen, and Tibby.Each of that characters are located in different places. Carmen is going to South Carolina, Lena and her little sister Effie are going to Greece to see their grandparents, and Bridget is going to a soccer camp in Baja, CAlifornia, and Tibby is staying in their hometown. The plot has to do with a pair of old pants that were never worn and are now worn by all the girls as they send the pants along with what they did in the pants.
