Bamba-Hackney pony mixBamba came into the program as a two year old. She had a halter embedded into her face because it was left on and never adjusted as she grew. When rescued it had to be cut out of her face. She would charge, rear, and bite people who tried to approach her. Bamba is now over 3 years old and is placed. She has learned ground manners and has been exposed to many people and kids. She loves to play the Parelli Natural horsemanship games.Bamba (pronounced: Bomba) has moved to a foster home with lots of kids. She is working on being broke to ride and will already let the kids sit on her bareback and ride her around the pen. Update: She was started undersaddle and is doing very well. She has been successfully placed with a experienced equestrian family with 3 children. Her updated photo includes Brandon, one of those children.

Bamba...
Here is Bamba, a year after entering Horse North Inc. She didn't look like this when she came in! |
More of Bamba...
Bamba lived with Holly for her first year in Horse North Inc. She has invested a lot of time into this sweet little pony so she will make someone a very nice pet. |
Bamba and Brandon....
Here she is with one of her "new" herd. Look at that little cowboy smile! Hard to believe this is the same scared and neglected pony who entered Horse North Inc. in January of 2005. These are the smiles that make it all worth it!!! |
