Sue and Roy...

Sue and Roy have years of experience breeding Paint and Appaloosa horses. They work with their babies daily and breed very well tempered stock.

Sue trains and breaks many of her horses. She rides young stock and can be seen spending many hours working with them. She also was runs a 4H horse program and helps corral the kids in the summer on "Pony Pack" nights.

Both Sue and Roy have participated in many Horse North functions including loading horses to trailer them down to Michigan State University when needed.

I laugh about what I was told about Sue when I first met her. "If Sue was in a fight with a bear, you would have to give the bear the switch to even up the odds." We laugh about that but she really has a tender heart towards the horses! Last summer her and Roy could be found sleeping out in the barn with one of their broodmares Kate, for days while she was colicky. Sadly they lost Kate. She will always be remembered and lives on in her wonderful offspring.
