DONATE:MONEY, TACK, TALENTS or TIME!!!!
All donations are tax deductible because Horse North Inc. is a Michigan non-profit corporation.
TACK ITEMS: needed or used by horse owners; halters, lead ropes, bridles, blankets, saddle pads, saddles, ect. We have a free equipment lease program and like to send out our horses in the proper fitting tack.
Food, Supplements, Wormers ect.
TALENTS: We are looking for people willing to donate their talents to promote a good cause.
Web Design: We would like to have our web page designed allowing a shopping cart and way to receive donations online... We would also like to add buttons rather than the plain links ect... Just need some tweeking... or something.
TIME: We need volunteers, people to help with one time fundraisers, kids programs, or just to spend time with the horses currently in need, Brushing, grooming, ect. We can train you, you do not have to be an expert with horses, just need to love being around them.
MONEY & FUNDS TO BE USED AS FOLLOWS:
1.) Rescue and/or Rehabilitation of equines (horses, ponies, mules and donkeys), including but not limited to purchase, transportaion, attorney fees, emergency and routine vet care.
2.) Care for equines between adoption/lease contracts
3.) Care for equines unable to be leased due to conditions making them not placeable, but not in pain.
4.) Purchase of program materials to educate new equine owners about the care and safe handling of their equines.
5.) Purchase feed, vaccines, dewormers, farrier care, emergency veterinary care or other items needed for horses under the care of Horse North Inc., a Michigan non-profit corporation.
6.) Admistrations costs for aquiring and leasing rescued and donated equines.
An annual statment of all donations and expenditures will be provided upon written request.
